  The place is newer than most condos on the Atlantic coast. Units are extremely well priced for the greater size (1400 to 1650 ft rather than 900 to 1100 found on older units) and level of detail (granite countertops, tile or wood floors rather than carpet in many units, crown moulding, and other upgrades). The amenities are top rate and abundant, from tennis, pools, club houses, weight room in the condo buildings to a boat access clubhouse on the back side of the island. Also it has miles of walking paths and sidewalks, something almost no condos have most places.
  
  It limits rentals to 1 month because a lot of the owners are permanent residents. It is quieter for that reason. And yes, it's mostly older people who can retire to live at the beach full time. It is not Myrtle Beach or Panama City beach. Thereviews complaining about peace and quiet and paranoia that the residents are "spying on them" are to be judged accordingly. Their rules are clear. Control your kids, don't scream excitedly after 11pm, and use the elevators as play toys. Other than than, they don't have a problem with kids. I suspect that the Dad doing the review was upset about the lack of eye candy, more than anything.
